Mistress T getting rag dolled the winner is… Mr Leotard! Our first Sydney mixed wrestling tournament went off with a bang one quiet Saturday night in December in a secret location in Sydneys inner west. Four guys versus four girls of varying ability, skill and size threw caution to the wind in the name of having a good ole’ time and getting hot, sweaty and pinned to submission. It was a round robin event with names drawn from a hat in boy/ girl order to set the rounds then 3 minute rounds with everyone or until last man/ woman standing. Bianca came to the tournament with a back injury but managed to win her 2 rounds before retiring hurt. There were 3 new faces 1 very strong guy with a muay thai background and 2 ladies with a genuine passion for kicking arse. The winner was the person with the most points on the board after wrestling everyone. We had 2 retirements, one retired then came back to kick arse again after an unfortunate full blown kick to the face but apart from that no injuries to report! There was a bit of WWF at the finale before the party started and folk wrestled into the early hours. All in all a fabulous night with new friends, a brilliant new refereeing career blossoming for Belle Star and a great bunch of likeminded people very keen to face off again soon! Off the the gym peeps! We’ve got one Mr Leotard to beat next time! x
